Job Title: Deputy Managing Director (Finance & Accounts)

About Us:
People’s Leasing and Financial Services Ltd. (PLFSL) is a publicly listed Non-Banking Financial Institution (NBFI) in Bangladesh. We are currently seeking a Deputy Managing Director (Finance & Accounts) to join our team.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Financial Analyst (CFA)
- Basic degree (Graduation/Post Graduation) in Accounting from a public university
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a Senior/Leadership position (SEVP level) handling Finance & Accounts independently in a Bank or Financial Institution
Responsibilities:
- Establishing financial discipline and strengthening accounting capacity
- Implementing systems, policies, and procedures related to Financial Management, Accounting, Budget & Planning
- Preparation and supervision of financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory authorities
- Designing chart of accounts, software-based accounting procedures, and accounting manual
- Carrying out Basel implementation activities and maintaining capital adequacy requirements
- Supervising treasury operations and investment activities
- Designing corporate tax plan and ensuring compliance with tax regulations
- Preparation of annual budgets and implementing budgetary control system
- Handling external audits, internal audits, and investigations related to accounts
Remuneration: Negotiable and attractive
Age: Maximum 50 years on 31st March 2024
