BRAC Bank is Hiring for Data Analytics and Risk Modeling Officer

BRAC Bank, one of the top sustainable banks in Bangladesh, is seeking an ambitious, intelligent, and enthusiastic individual for the position of Data Analytics and Risk Modeling Officer within their Risk Management Division. This is a full-time opportunity offering a rewarding experience within a reputable and respected financial institution.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a high-quality Small Credit database.
Utilize ETL tools for database management.
Leverage RPA tools for automated portfolio analysis and report generation.
Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards utilizing data science tools and machine learning models for risk modeling and scorecards.
Oversee the digitalized portfolio data management process.
Prepare data for risk modeling using scorecards, LGD, ECL, etc.
Implement process automation using Python/R.
Create documents and white papers for modeling.

Qualifications:

A relevant degree in Information and Communication Engineering or Data Science from a reputable institution with a satisfactory academic track record.
At least one year of working experience in data science and risk modeling, preferably in a financial organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data science concepts and automation tools.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proven working knowledge of MS Office.
Expertise in Python for Data Science, R, and SQL.
A customer-centric, self-propelled, and team-oriented individual.
