Required Qualifications and Experiences:
(a) At least Master Degree in Law/Management/MBA or any other relevant subject from any university recognized by Govt. & UGC. Professional degree e.g Chartered Secretary (CS) from any govt. recognized institute may get preference.
(b) No third Division/Class at any stage of the academic career shall be acceptable. Candidates passed in the grading system must possess at least a CGPA 3.50 on a scale of 5.0 and a CGPA 2.75 on a scale of 4.0. Candidates passed in the conventional system (class/division) must possess at least 2nd class /division.
(c) At least 3(Three) years working experience in senior position in the relevant field.
(d) At least 12 (twelve) years working experience as Assistant Manager/Assistant Director/Assistant Company Secretary and above in a large organization, including 4 (four) years working experience as Manager (HR/Admin)/Deputy Company Secretary or equivalent position in Administrative/Secretarial functions.
(e) Must demonstrate strong participatory leadership ability.
(f) Able to demonstrate knowledge in Companies Act, TQM, Strategic Management Preventive Maintenance & corporate Governance etc will get preference.
(g) Must have strong communication skill in English (written & oral) including computer literacy.

Compensation Package:
a) Basic Salary, House Rent allowance, Medical Benefits, Bonus, Gratuity and other Fringe Benefits will be given as per the pay structure and CPGCBL (Employees) Service Rules-2017;
b) Income Tax has to be paid by the employee.

Terms and Conditions:

The Company Secretary (CS) will be appointed on contract basis initially for a period of 03 (Three) years or up to the age of 60 (Sixty) years whichever is earlier and renewable for further period up to the age of 60 (Sixty) based on the satisfactory performance.

a) CV with Cover Letter addressing to the Managing Director, CPGCBL duly signed by applicant;
b) Photocopies of all educational certificates and experience certificates including training and other activities;
c) Photocopies of National ID card & Nationality Certificate from City Corporation/Pourasava/Union Parishad;
d) 03 (three) copies of recent PP size photograph;
e) MICR Bank Draft/Pay Order of TK-1,000 (One Thousand) in favor of “Coal Power Generation Company Bangladesh Limited (CPGCBL).”
Candidates serving in government/semi-government/autonomous or corporate bodies must apply through proper channel;
Candidates passed from foreign university(s)institute(s) should have equivalent result and certificate from the competent authority;
